Revisit Metcalf Road ride - March 21, 2010

Meet at REI in Fremont around 8AM and roll by 8:30am. Flattish ride from the start to White Road / San Felipe / Yerba Buena / Silver Creek Road with a nasty climb on Metcalf Road (West). Approximately 70 miles.
There will be 2 groups this time, hard hitters and moderate groups. Moderate group will climb on the East side of Metcalf Road.

Suggestions are welcome...

It is in great sadness to share this sad news that our fallen brother Romy (El Presidente) San Miguel passed away on March 7, 2010 doing what he loved so much, riding his bicycle...his dedication and passion for the sport was an inspiration to us all.
Whether you are a regular or an occasional rider, you can count on Romy to be there rain or shine on Sundays with his open friendship, humor, and mostly his easy going kind character... our rides will no longer be the same without him and we will miss him dearly.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with his wife and lovely family. Please take a moment of silence to honor our friend/brother Romy (El presidente).

RIP Romy.
