Back is Jack
... or that should have been "Jack is Back".
I just checked the 10 day forecast and Sunday the 15th shows a high of 76 degrees, perfect temp to re-visit Sierra Road. http://www.weather.com/outlook/homeandgarden/pets/tenday/94538?from=36hr_topnav_pets
I also checked Starbucks by Auto Mall and Fremont Blvd and they open at 6:30 so we'll meet around 6:30 with a roll time of 7am to escape some of the heat on top of Sierra. Remember, we got cooked on that day due to a late start.
So here it is folks... A taste of Sierra Road part deux.
Meeting Place:REI / Home Depot in South Fremont by Auto Mall pkwy and Fremont Blvd. http://tinyurl.com/3ywdul Meeting Time: 6:30AM Roll by 7:00am http://siclista.blogspot.com/2007/03/next-sunday-april-1st-siclista-ride.html

2008 Trek Madone

New 2008 Trek Madone Frame
Frame in photo is still unpainted. 3 things very different. 1. Integrated headset with 1.5 inch lower bearing. 2. Integrated bottom bracket with drop in bearings & Madone goes to 90mm from 68mm Bottom Bracket width allowing dramatic improvements in bottom bracket rigidity. 3. Seatpost that slide over the frame adding comfort since the new assemble is designed to have about 0.7cm of flex when you encounter something hard. Seatpost comes in 2 lengths and 3 offsets.
Madone has 2 fits, the Performance and Pro fit. The geometry and materials are identical the only difference is that the Performance fit has a front end that is 3cm taller than the Pro version.
