Approximately 30 riders participated in the ride, two of them females. I suspect the rider participation may have been affected by other events happening that weekend, namely the Sea Otter Classic & Primavera Century.
At the start of the ride, it was quite chilly especially with the windy conditions and the early morning start. As the ride elevation began to rise, body temps began to rise making the cold air welcoming.
At the finish, we were treated to a delicious BBQ Korean ribs, lecheon and other delicious Filipino dishes. A raffle followed where several Siclista riders became beneficiaries of the various prizes.
Vellum World Cycles was also there to showcase their carbon frames.
My wife, Mary Ann became an honorary F.A.C.T. member for helping out cooking rice and barbecuing and organizing the buffet table. The F.A.C.T. members really appreciated her help and gave her a t-shirt.

hey bobbyG, gud 2 know evryting went smoothly & the ride did live up to its billing especially that yummy korean bbq & lechon - that ryt ter wud hav been worth the trip to frez..
My fellow Siclista's you miss the good ride it was the ride of the year.
