I don't think he's secretly training but he is riding a lot. FFBC race team is trying to sign him up is what I heard.

It's official, Gonzalo is a member of the FFBC Race Team. He knocked on my door wearing the FFBC race kit and he said he is having a lot of fun training with the team.
Gonzalo, ariba ariba andale andale,mucho burrito after that race.....
