Who wants to ride Tour de Peninsula Aug 1 2010?
Meet at new dog park at 3rd Street meet 6:45am (from San Mateo bridge take Foster City Blvd exit & right on Chess Dr, left on Foster City Blvd, left on 3rd St, the dog park on the right side.)
Metric Century officially starts 7:00am at Coyote Point. I will only do the 50mile Simon Says Option.

Sunday - 7/25/2010 Easy Halo Halo ride

Meet at Pugad Lawin with 8:30 roll time.
Route will be the original Halo Halo ride plus Coyote and Don Edwards to the foot of Dumbarton Bridge. There will be a King of the Mountain at Nike Hill and 3 Sprints points at Coyote, DBridge and the long Cushing Pkwy. :-) . A little meeting to cover the upcoming Siclista Classic III after the ride. Please bring your pledge if you can.

Adobo festival July 18 - Kennedy Park Union City

You all might wanna check out Adobo festival at Kennedy Park (Decoto and 12th, across from UC Bart). After going to noon Mass this might be a nice venue to visit with the family (I was there yesterday after a quick 20-mile ride at the trail). Lots of food (Bobby's grill, et al), and performers. I think it's until 6pm today.

July 4, 2010 Mt. Hamilton - Backside

A very nice 59 miles ride from Livermore to The Junction (Mines Rd.) with the Tracy Riders & Alfred.

A special request to roll from the library at 8AM.

Mines Road to Mt. Hamilton and back.
Ride starts at the Livermore Public Library with a roll time of 7AM.
Lunch stop will be at The Junction bar and Grill. they open at 10AM on Sundays.

Strong riders will go all the way to the top of Mt Hamilton while the moderate riders will stop at the junction.

Happy Father's Day to all Siclista's and their families. To all Siclista fathers, grandfathers, their dads, dads-in-law, living and deceased, a Blessed Father's Day greeting.

p.s. I've got a couple of calls on where our friend Kuya Romy is laid to rest, specifically, where his niche is located. Just to answer that, if you go up the main stairwell in the Circle of Peace mausoleum, to your right will be the Court of Ascension, and to the adjacent right is the Court of Everlasting Peace - before the entrance to this court on the left side you will see four niches stacked vertically. The bottom niche has a small, temporary label (about 1 inch in height) of Romy San Miguel.
