San Mateo Bridge to Marina

Does anyone have the bike route details from Breakwater Ave., Hayward (adjacent to Hwy 92) to San Leandro Marina? I was told that there is an off-road bike path along the bay to Marina. I searched on sites such as bikely.com etc., but did not succeed. Thanks.

I know the trail but mostly its offroad, take industrial blvd going west past eden shores, left turn baumberg ave, follow arden rd and go strait until you hit the end of it,the road becomes eden landing make a right, left trust way, right research rd.left point eden way and you will see the cross over bridge.the bike path is a east bay regional park just when you see the first right off road take it and follow it will bring you to marina park.

Johnv knows his east bay trails. He not only maps out the route like a gps would do, but also meets me at the trailhead & ushers me thru the shoreline path to San Mateo bridge. He showcases his honorable yellow jersey that reads, "Bike Patrol."

Today, I rode the same route and arrived home within one hour. This will be my regular commute from work. Thanks a million, Johnv

I envy you, Cesar. If my wife could only drive, I will also be commuting on my bike to work. It takes an hour too. Kaya pinagiisipan ko ng huwalayan ang asawa ko :) Ayos ba?
