El Presidente Romy in Siclista Red

*Slideshow of Romy's last bike ride*
March 07, 2010 approximately 12:05 PM at Metcalf Rd, San Jose, CA

It is in great sadness to share this sad news that our fallen brother Romy (El Presidente) San Miguel passed away on March 7, 2010 doing what he loved so much, riding his bicycle...his dedication and passion for the sport was an inspiration to us all.
Whether you are a regular or an occasional rider, you can count on Romy to be there rain or shine on Sundays with his open friendship, humor, and mostly his easy going kind character... our rides will no longer be the same without him and we will miss him dearly.

Our thoughts and prayers will be with his wife and lovely family. Please take a moment of silence to honor our friend/brother Romy (El presidente).

RIP Romy.

I've known kuya Romy before I've known most of the Siclista's. He was a very down to earth guy with having a friendly smiling face and great attitude. With all my prayers, you will be missed!

My prayers and condolonces go to Bro Romy and his Family. I've only known him for a short period of time because I rode with the club only for a few times, but he was there all those times. We may not be ready to face God yet, but God is always ready to face us. Rest in Peace Brother.
